NWDW Private Milestone Data Audit

Why use this report?

This report helps you know the status of your uploads in relation to the public data that has already been processed. There are times when your private data will not exactly match the public data. But in general this data should be very close. If you haven't yet uploaded fresh data after SGPs have released you could be missing some important metrics for your private data reports.

Data Completeness

Complete data expects to match the numbers of Private and Public test result counts. When data is fully synchronized between sources, the Private Tests count should equal the Public Tests count, and the Private SGPs count should equal the Public SGPs count for each Assessment.

While a 100% match is desirable, the counts could be lower due to student transfers that occur after testing has been administered. This can result in legitimate differences between Private and Public counts.

The LNC (Likely Not Complete) flag identifies cases where the Private counts fall below 99% of Public counts, indicating potential data synchronization issues or incomplete uploads beyond what would be expected from normal student transfers.

How far should I go back?

We have uploaded the public data as far back as the 2014-2015 school year. It isn't necessary to refresh that far back with private data. However, you may want to have around 3-5 years of private data for trends and comparisons.
