NWDW Assessment Upload Status
Why use this report?
The NWDW Assessment Data Upload Status report provides a comprehensive view of assessment data availability and quality within the Northwest Data Warehouse (NWDW) system. This monitoring tool helps administrators and data managers track the completeness and timeliness of assessment uploads across multiple test families, school years, and testing periods.
What You’re Verifying
This report helps you spot-check two data quality issues:
Files other districts submitted but yours didn't – Compare your district's submissions to peer districts across the NWDW. If another district submitted a file for a test family in a particular year but your district didn't, it will appear here. This doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong—your district may not participate in that particular test or reporting period. Use this view to determine which files (if any) actually need to be submitted.
Outdated files that need refreshing – Identify assessment files that haven't been updated recently and may need to be pulled fresh from your source systems.
Catching these issues early means your downstream assessment reports will be more complete and trustworthy.
What This Means for Your District
When you stay on top of assessment data quality, you can:
Ensure complete trend analysis across years, periods, and subjects
Support accurate, timely reporting for leadership and state compliance
Make proactive data management part of your routine instead of scrambling when reports look wrong
