Join Northwest RESA at the Data Conference

We are excited to announce that the Northwest Georgia RESA data team will be presenting at the upcoming 2026-27 GaDOE Data Conference in Savannah this Thursday. We have two sessions specifically focused on Data Literacy designed to help you turn data into meaningful action, and we would love to see you there!

• Session 1: From Data to Decisions: Using Data Literacy to Drive Meaningful Impact

  • Time: Thursday, 9:40 am – 10:40 am

  • Description: This session builds a shared understanding of data literacy as a foundation for informed decision-making. We will explore common pitfalls, such as aggregate data masking and incompatible comparisons, and establish a common language for purposeful data use.

• Session 2: From Data to Decisions in Practice: Applying Data Literacy for Impact

  • Time: Thursday, 1:20 pm – 2:20 pm

  • Description: This interactive workshop puts theory into practice. We will walk through data interrogation protocols like the "Look, Think, Act" model and discuss how to build and sustain a healthy data culture within your teams.

On Friday, we are hosting a special, unlisted session for Data Warehouse users or anyone interested in taking a peek at the dashboards. This is an informal opportunity to go beyond the official agenda and connect directly with our team.

• Data Warehouse Community Meeting

  • Time: Friday, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm (Room 107-108)

  • Description: Join us to get a first look at some of the new updates, share your feedback with us on what you’d, like to see next, and connect with the RESA team and colleagues from across the state.

We look forward to seeing many familiar faces in Savannah as we work together to equip, empower, and serve our educators through better data use.
