Lexile® Percentiles Available on MAP Growth
The Lexile® Framework for Reading is used to measure the ability for a student to read linked with the complexity of the text read. NWEA MAP Growth has provided a Lexile measure for the Reading assessments. The percentile of the student’s Lexile measure for the Reading assessment is placed in a percentile according to the grade level of the student and the time period of the testing season. The time of year is broken down into the common three testing windows: Fall, Winter, and Spring. The Lexile ranges for percentile grouping have been sourced from the Lexile® & Quantile® Hub which is maintained by MetaMetrics, Inc. Below is an example of the Fall cut scores for percentile grouping.

Find the cut scores used in the report by clicking the [i] (Information) button above the percentiles chart.
Groups
Grouping the percentiles by grade level is the default view for the chart. But we have added a drop-down choice to make selections for custom percentile grouping.
