Congratulations, Amanda Watson! 
Amanda Watson, a Pre-K special education teacher at McHenry Elementary School in Floyd County, has been selected to receive a $1000 scholoarship from the National Association of Alternative Certification (NAAC).  She will receive the scholarship at the NAAC national conference being held in Atlanta April 3-6, 2008.  Mrs. Watson was one of three candidates selected from applicants from programs nationwide.  She earned her certification in June 2007 through the One-year Supervised Practicum (Test-based Option).
